Present simple ရဲ႕ပုံစံေတြက ဘယ္လိုလဲ??

 

• (ရိုးရိုးဝါက်) … subject က တစ္ခုကိန္းဆိုရင္ verb မွာ s/es ထည့္ေပးရမယ္။ subject အမ်ားဆိုရင္ verb ကို ဒီအတိုင္းေရးရံုေပါ့။
ဥပမာ- He plays tennis. သူတင္းနစ္ကစားတယ္။

• (အျငင္းဝါက်) … subject က တစ္ခုကိန္းဆိုရင္ does not + verb။ subject က အမ်ားဆိုရင္ do not + verb။
ဥပမာ- She doesn't play tennis.

• (အေမးဝါက်) … subject က တစ္ခုကိန္းဆိုရင္ Does+subject+verb…?
အမ်ားကိန္းဆိုရင္ Do+subject+verb…?
ဥပမာ- Do you play tennis?

Present simple ကို ဘယ္ခ်ိန္သုံးမလဲ??

[1] ပုံမွန္အေလ့အထေတြ (regular habits) ဒါမွမဟုတ္ ထပ္တလဲလဲျဖစ္ေနတဲ့လုပ္ေဆာင္ခ်က္(repeated actions) ေတြကိုေျပာျပဖို႔သုံးတယ္။
I `get up´ really early and `practise´ for an hour or so most days.
ေန႔အမ်ားစုမွာ ကြ်န္ေတာ္တကယ့္ကိုအိပ္ရာေစာေစာထျပီး တစ္နာရီေလာက္ေလ့က်င့္တယ္။
I use the internet just about every day.
ကြ်န္ေတာ္ ေန႔တိုင္းေလာက္ကို အင္တာနက္သုံးျဖစ္တယ္။

ဒီလိုရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္နဲ႔ ေရးရင္ အၾကိမ္အေရအတြက္ေတြ၊ အခ်ိန္ေတြကိုေဖာ္ျပတဲ့စကားလုံးေတြကို ထည့္သုံးေလ့ရွိတယ္။ (e.g. always, generally, normally, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, never, every day, every evening)

[2] အျမဲတမ္းျဖစ္တဲ့အေျခအေနေတြ (permanent situations) ကို ေျပာျပဖို႔သုံးတယ္။
My parents `own´ a restaurant.
ငါ့မိဘေတြ စားေသာက္ဆိုင္တစ္ဆိုင္ပိုင္တယ္။ (အျမဲတမ္းပိုင္ေနတာေလ။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ Present simple သုံးရတယ္)

[3] အခ်က္အလက္ေတြ (facts) ဒါမွမဟုတ္ ေယဘုယ်အားျဖင့္လက္ခံထားတဲ့ အမွန္တရားေတြ (generally accepted truths) ေတြေျပာဖို႔ သုံးတယ္။
Students `don't generally have´ much money.
ေက်ာင္းသားေတြမွာ ေယဘုယ် အားျဖင့္ေတာ့ ပိုက္ဆံမ်ားမ်ားမရွိဘူး။
If you heat water at 100°C, it `boils´.
ေရကို 100°C အပူေပးရင္ ဆူတယ္။

ဒီစကားလုံးေတြနဲ႔ တြဲသုံးေလ့ရွိတယ္။ (generally, mainly, normally, usually, traditionally)

[4] ဘာလုပ္ဘာကိုင္ရမယ္ဆိုတဲ့ ညႊန္ၾကားခ်က္ေတြ (instructions) နဲ႔ ဘယ္ကိုသြား ဘယ္ကိုလာဆိုတဲ့ လမ္းညႊန္ခ်က္ေတြ (directions) ေတြေပးဖို႔ သုံးတယ္။
You `go´ down to the traffic lights, then you `turn´ left.
မီးပြိဳင့္အထိေလွ်ာက္သြား၊ ျပီးမွ ဘယ္ေကြ႔လိုက္ပါ။
To start the programme, first `click´ on the icon on the desktop.
ဒီပရိုဂရမ္ကိုစဖို႔ desktop ေပၚက icon ကို ပထမဆုံး ကလစ္လိုက္ပါ။

[5] ဇာတ္လမ္းေတြ ေျပာျပဖို႔နဲ႔ ရုပ္ရွင္ေတြ၊ စာအုပ္ေတြ၊ ျပဇာတ္ေတြအေၾကာင္းေျပာျပဖို႔ သုံးတယ္။
In the film, the tea lady `falls´ in love with the Prime Minister.
ရုပ္ရွင္ထဲမွာ လက္ဖက္ရည္ဆက္တဲ့အမ်ိဳးသမီးက ဝန္ၾကီးခ်ဳပ္နဲ႔ ခ်စ္ၾကိဳက္သြားတယ္။
